At the vet's I got to check out every inch of the room and Matte held me so I could look out the window. I really enjoyed that! The vet, Rikke, was really sweet and I liked her a lot. I purred when she talked to me. And I had to purr-apologize to her too - when she took hair and blood samples she had to scratch me with a small knife. I did not enjoy that, so I growled. (Matte didn't even know I knew how to do that! She was very proud of me.)
And then a nurse came to pull some blood for an allergy test. She shaved and stuck a needle in me. I was surprised, but sat still. Once it started to get boring I skipped about a little and the nurse decided she had enough of my blood. I had a band-aid on my leg, but Matte took it off (as instructed by the vet) when we got back home, so that I could get cleaned up.
It is tiresome though, to have such an exciting day. I slept all afternoon, took Matte for a short walk around dinner time, and then slept all evening as well.
