Cocktail hour

Cocktail hour! I opted for a cocktail hour nap, *cocka doodle doo*. I'd rather not be awake if they'd actually bring a great big rooster into the living room. Skuggan is much more fit to handle big birds. She'd probably save us all! Cocka doodle doo!! No more for me, no thanks...

Anniversary!

Today we celebrate 7 years together.

Tail dip

What to do on a hot summer day when you don't like to swim? Not even in a pool. Well, ice cream is always nice, but if you're napping, I recommend a tail dip! I dipped my tail in my glass of water. Nice and cool!!

Marshmallow cats

Think of a warm summer evening. Imagine you have a bbq and is about to have dessert. What better dessert than marshmallows?! Yummy! But... could you eat them if they looked like a cute kitty-cat??

Hissing and Kissing

Husse and Matte went shopping yesterday. They came back with lots and lots of stuff including a new dinner table! They are very pleased with themselves. Unfortunately they forgot to do what they intended to do, so they'll have to do that at another time.

This morning Matte and I took our inspection tour of the garden and surroundings. It is a lovely morning, really warm. Back inside we took a few minutes to cuddle and kiss. It was very cozy. Until Matte discovered a tick on my chin. Yuck. Dr Husse removed the tick while Nurse Matte held me close.

Matte then decided to hang some clothes in her closet. Imagine her surprise when the clothes already in there hissed at her!! She tried twice and was hissed at twice... So she decided to close the doors and allow Skuggan some rest...

Dear Diary

Dear Diary, 

It has been a busy morning. Let me break it up for you: 

03.45 - order first breakfast, Matte got up promptly. Good girl!

05.30 - order second breakfast. No servants acknowledged order. How very odd. 

06.00 - order second breakfast again. Husse got up after a please-meow. Atta boy!

06.10 - order first walk, Matte got up and we made sure the garden had survived the night safely. Relief. 

06.20 - third breakfast. Or rather a snack. Wasn't very hungry. 

07.30 - order second walk. Matte finished her breakfast as fast as she could. A bit slow in my opinion. 

08.05 - Big fellow knocks on door. Matte and I connect with the leash. Big fellow sprays wasp's home and then leaves. I think Big fellow wins by 1 - 0. Dead wasps all over the place. Scary stuff. I decide to take a nap. Matte brings out vacuum. Skuggan hides under the bed. 

09.15 - I took a nap on the stairs. I am now to take a nap in the bath room, where it is nice and cool.

Tired

Summer makes me tired. I am at my best around 4-5 am, but Matte does not want to get up and take action pictures. She's a bit lazy, isn't she. Around that time of day at least.

Matte says I'm such a handsome boy, a real dish. Catch of the day!

And then she sighed. And Husse brought out another plate.

Took Matte for a walk this morning, introducing her to the Wild Side of Limhamn. 

Please meet Baby Blackbird. He doesn't know how to stay away from cats yet. I taught him, without hurting him. Very successful morning walk on the Wild Side.

Sneaky!

Last night, cuddled up on Matte's lap, having a nice cat nap. Peaceful! Yeah right... Sneaky Matte pulled out a pair of scissors and trimmed my claws... Ha! I got sneaky right back at you, Matte. Can you find my paws and claws now?? 

Green rat

Here I am, princess of the house. Peacefully chillin' in the living room. DIE, GREEN RAT, DIE! Yes, it sometimes happens that I get annoyed with the green rat and I go for the kill. KICK, KICK, KICK and woheeeee there the green rat goes flying through the room! Killed it. Success!!

Peepot

When I inspected the garden today, I found that Matte had made me a peepot. That's really thoughtful of her! It's a bit difficult to cover up your tracks, but other than that, it's fine. My bum smells like lavender. 

Ikea

I like that Ikea sells catbeds. They can double as bags. Convenient!

Birdwatch

Is birdwatching watching birds or is it being watched by birds? They are just pretend-birds, but I guess it would still be called a birdwatch. 

Unsoft

Husse, you're a bit unsoft over here. I'll help you. *Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp..."

What a great cat bed!! I want to sleep in it and shed lots and lots of white hair there to make it extra comfy.
