Waiting

Husse is planning the activities in the kitchen, Matte is pondering whether to vacuum first or do garden work first... All three of us are looking forward 'til tonight. Matte's Mom and Claes will be coming over and we look forward to their company.

Good things come to those who wait

Enok

Boys' nights

Matte stayed out late both Thursday and Friday night. Hence, Husse and I had two "boy's night" in a row. Thursday night we chilled in front of the tv, watching "2 1/2 men". (Almost) appropriate! I also got a cut of Husse's tuna sandwich, which was yummy!
When Matte came home Friday, I asked her to sit down so I could cuddle with her. I slept in her arms for an hour and we loved every minute!

Me and my Matte

Hard work

It's hard work keeping Husse and Matte busy. They are not only supposed to feed me and take me for my walks as well as spend about 40 hours per week at their employer's offices. No, to keep Husse and Matte in shape, they need to be activated in different ways. Last night Husse got busy sorting documents. He threw away lots and seemed very pleased with himself. Matte and I are very proud of him! My job, of course, was to sit close by and keep him company. Today, Matte took the day off from her "real" job. I have kept my eyes on her from my spot in the window when she worked in the garden. I just asked her for my walk, but she's off to the recycling station. I hope I get my walk when she comes back.

Clean Wednesday

Recently Matte's sister and her family celebrated Clean Monday in Greece. People flew kites and had great fun. I don't know if Clean Monday was an inspiration to Matte or not. No, she's not flying kites - she's cleaning! She's at home all day, even though it's only Wednesday. She's been sweeping the floor and then swept the floor again. But with a wet cloth instead. Awfully strange and kind of scary. Not the cloth in itself, but the fact that it was wet... Apart from that we've been doing well and I've been helping as much as I could. Napping and staying out of the way from the wet cloth, but also cleaning a kitchen drawer. What would Matte do without me?

What's underneath?

OK, I'm done!

International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day. I wonder what that means - are Husse and I to do Matte's chores today? Or is Matte to do all Husse's chores? I'm confused! But then nothing seemed much different around here. Husse and Matte did what they usually do on a lazy Sunday: took me for a walk in the garden, did some garden work, did some indoor stuff, took me for a walk in the garden to show me it rained, they had lunch and I had a nap, took me for a walk in the garden and now I've had supper!
I wanted to help Matte bake bread, but it was so nice and warm by the oven, I decided to lie down for a bit instead!

Sing along!

Hey la, hey la, my Matte's back
She's been gone for such a long time
Hey la, hey la, my Matte's back
Now, she's back, and things will be fine

I've been cuddling with Matte as much as I could since Sunday, when she came back home from her trip to Athens.
