So, Husse and I are watching Ryder Cup. Golf. You know. Europe vs USA?! It is a very important cup!! they're in the Chicago area now and the US... well, they're up. Still keeping my toes crossed for Europe. Matte? Well, she's downstairs trying to watch "Young Victoria" or something else girlish. Skuggan is a good sport trying to get more food. Between the two of us, we're getting pretty good att bossing our humans around. I think it should be called "catting" instead of "bossing". Oh, back to Ryder Cup. Excellent birdie there! I prefer birdies!

Back to normal
Back to normal! I brought Matte on a walk around the house this morning. Husse insisted on giving me my medicine first, it's a gel that needs to be rubbed in. It's just until Monday, according to the vet's instructions. I still have bald spots on my head, over my eyes toward my ears, but otherwise, hair is growing back all over. Since I don't wear that stupid collar anymore, I walk around the house again. Hated that collar, I bumped in to things all the time.
Back to normal when it comes to strange solutions as well. According to Matte, that is. Making the bed in a cat friendly way is putting cover over it and tucking the cover away. It's partly successful. Skuggan is also very pleased things are back to normal!
Off!!!
The collar is OFF! Husse and Matte took it off yesterday, saying they wanted to trust me not scratching the itchy parts. I even got to spend the night with them on their request. I guess they wanted to keep an eye on me. I was very, very careful and cleaned myself thoroughly. It felt so good!! Matte says I still have a yeast infection, but it doesn't look as bad anymore.

Collar off!
This morning, Matte took off my collar! It's back on again, but I got to spend about an hour and a half without it. What joy!!! I took the opportunity to get myself all cleaned up. Such a relief, let me tell you. Matte does her best, but you can't clean a cat the way a cat does. We also took a walk in the garden, which was great. I really hate that collar. Can't wait to get rid of it for good. Husse says it won't be long now.
Shower booth, dining room, bedroom. Perfect space!
I still got breakfast in bed!
What a relief to get all cleaned up!

Difficult!
Another morning with the collar on. Sigh. Matte brought me downstairs so I could do my business. Phew! Then I caught The Matte-Ride upstairs again and we decided to get some fresh air, Skuggan and I. While out there I thought I'd clean my bottom. That proved more difficult than what you would have imagined. Especially since I was on the slim top shelf. Good thing I have a strong tail, I didn't fall off, though it frightened Matte for a second. I want to get rid of this collar. Now.

Fresh Air
Fresh air! I caught The Matte-Ride outdoors and it was fabulous to smell fresh air! Skuggan kept me company. The Matte-Ride has also carried me downstairs to the litter box. What a relief!! I have been eating and drinking to Matte's satisfaction today. Yesterday I wasn't thirsty at all and she was very worried. Today she is very pleased with me. She worries about different things each day. This morning she called the vet becuase she thinks I have a yeast infection. Sigh!

Sick sucks
I'm sick. It sucks. But there are some good things to it, might as well enjoy it while it lasts. Like getting brekfast in bed. Matte brought me my bowl of water and the new diet food on a tray. It looks fancy and I appreciated it. Husse was great at giving me water, holding the bowl at the exact right angle. The collar I'm still wearing is in the way, so I am greatful for help.
My sickbed is a cupboard. Haven't I told you before that cupboards are very, very useful? I spend most of my time in here, sleeping a lot. Last night Matte left some food in the drawr and the bowl of water in the left handside of the cupboard. That way she could offer me a midnight snack when she got up to sneeze in the middle of the night. She didn't want to leave it out in case I accidently would knock it over. Or Skuggan would attempt to steal my food...

Paragon of Virtue
Watching opera with my Matte and my Husse. We had a lovely time, let me tell you! Especially I did, since I am deaf. I'm pretty sure opera isn't my kind of tea... or music, for that matter. I was a true "paragon of virtue", let me tell you! Do you know the Swedish translation? No? Well, I didn't "cry behind closed windows" either. Now, enlarge the picture... See? Still boring. Boooorinnnng! Sleep was the much better option, so that's what I did.
World Watch
We are watching the world! The world is just outside our window. Nice! Sometimes a friend comes by, like Missan. We like to watch the world more closely when Missan is out there. Missan isn't exactly a friend though, s/he doesn't understand that this is our territory. It's still nice to have visitors!

Collar Cat
*Sigh*. What can I say? My allergies grew really bad, itchy itchy itchy... On Tuesday Matte took me to the vet. I told her loud and clear what I thought of it. The vet's assistants all turned their heads when I came through the door, pleading Matte to turn around and go back home. Matte signed me in "this is Enok and he does not want to be here". Yep, she was sure right about that one!
Anyway, the vet was really nice. He didn't hurt me at all and I didn't have to spend the day there. Phew! The vet ordered a new diet (yummy!! I love it!!), an antibiotic (really tasty!) and a collar... No, don't like it. At all. It gets in the way all the time. All the time! I am serious!! I can't scratch, I can't clean myself, I find it difficult to eat, drink and use the litter box. The collar bumbs into everything. Can't wait to get rid of it.
