Walk the line

We've been out twice today, Matte and I! I enjoyed the second walk of today as much as I did the first one. Spring really is in the air! I checked all the pee-mails and I left a message too. This time in our own yard, so Matte didn't have to get embarrassed. A person with a huge, black dog headed our direction - the dog was not on a leash, so Matte and I went back to the house real fast! Matte went out again, to walk Husse. He's not on a leash. But I bet he sings "because you're mine, I walk the leash..." or something like that :-)

Spring is here!

Spring is here! It must be, all the snow is melting. The birds are busy flying back and forth in the garden... that keeps me busy! Matte and I went for this year's first long walk, we walked into the neighbouring area where there are no cars. I peed there... first time ever! Matte got quite embarrassed, she knows the neighbours don't want dogs walked in the area - how about cats? It was only 8 in the morning on a Sunday, I don't think anybody noticed! Matte was listening to the birds, she claims they all sang "haha, a cat on a leash". I don't believe her, I think they just announced spring!

Jump!

Have you seen my flying squirrel jump? It's pretty cool :-) Husse and Matte are having difficulties catching it on film, I am much to fast for them. This is a pretty good shot though, but I can make much cooler jumps than this!

Untie the knot

I am desperately trying to untie the knot! It smells so good from inside the bag - there's half a salmon in there. Not knowing how to untie a knot, I try everything I can think of. I wasn't successful, though. In the end, Husse took the bag to the fridge and I think he prepared it later, when I was asleep...

These paws are made for walking...

These paws are made for walking... but not in snow!! Matte has been wonderful, she shovelled up some pathways for me in the garden. The bunnies, the birds and the visiting cats also appreciate the paths. Yesterday it rained and some of the snow has melted. It leaves a snow-slush that is really awful to walk in. I clean my paws very carefully when I get in. See how pretty they get?

Coffee Cat

This is Husse and me, we're getting our morning coffee. It looks really nice, doesn't it? Let me tell you - it is nice! I don't drink coffee, though. I just make sure Husse is comfortable. Feeling warm inside, I figure Husse's lap need some warming up too. So I really am the perfect company when having coffee - hence, I am the Coffee Cat!

We're waiting

Matte and I are waiting for Husse to wake up. I have had my breakfast, I got it hours and hours ago. I've had my third serving and now I got tired of waiting for Husse. I think he'll find me when he finally gets up...
