Something pretty

Sometimes we need something pretty to cheer us up. I decided to be the pretty center piece on the dining room table to cheer Husse and Matte up. I believe I was successful!

Oh, yeah...

Oh, yeah. Forgot to tell you about this one! Husse brought in a tree before Christmas. They seem to do that about the same time every year. We sure appreciate it. I don't mind the litter boxes, but outdoor peeing is a bit more... on the wild side. Exciting. So sure, I did what I had to do with this tree. Kind of interesting mix indoors/outdoors, you know. Matte had a real bad cold in December so that might be the explanation why she didn't notice anything until they took the tree out in January. Husse cleaned the floor. I'm sort of guessing they didn't appreciate the marking as much as Skuggan and I did... Well, we only wanted to keep other cats away from our tree!!! Honestly!!

Newish

So Matte made the bed. Newish stuff, too. We had to check it out thoroughly. Skuggan likes that the cover goes all the way down to the floor. She hid under the bed and I couldn't really see her. She punched me real good through the lace-stuff. Hrmpf. The best part is the front left corner where we could pull the cover all the way out. Matte kept putting it back. It kept all three of us busy for a while. The best part is that we can still nap here. Skuggan appreciates the pillows too, she could get used to them!

Ooooh....

I am soooo tired! I like to block out any light by putting my paw over my eyes. Matte finds that very charming. Today, Husse and Matte were more tired than Enok and I. They went to a party last night and didn't come home until after midnight. I wonder if Matte likes to block out the light by putting her paw over her eyes?

Snoring

Matte, Enok snores! He can be pretty loud... I want to sleep near him, but I don't know if I want to listen to his snoring. He doesn't seem to understand me. I mjau and mjau and mjau. Sigh... What is a cat to do?

I miss snow!

I miss snow! I loved playing in the snow last year. This year it's only wet and windy when I go out on the balcony. I can deal with some wet, but when it is windy as well, there are very few birds out to watch. Please send some snow this way!

News on new year

Having spent 10 days at the wonderful cat hotel, Skuggan and I checked every corner of the house to make sure no other cat had used our house during our absence. Everything was in good order, what a relief! Having had a busy evening, checking my pee-mails had to wait until today. I brought Matte on a leash and we spent a wonderful half hour in the garden. There were only two pee-mails I needed to answer, but I did provide a lengthy response to both of them... Going back indoors, I left paw prints on the floor, rather muddy I must say. I think Matte appreciates the pattern!

Purr-Ma and Purr-Pa

Skuggan and I have been at our favourite cat hotel over Christmas and New Year. Well, Skuggan does not enjoy the trip and really prefers to stay at home. Anyway, we had great news when we got back from our holiday: Matte's mom got married to her Claes! Congratulations!! Matte's mom is really a cat-mom so we thought our wedding gift to them is new titles: Purr-Ma and Purr-Pa!
