Proud Hunter

Skuggan is our proud hunter! Early yesterday morning Husse heard her play happily in the living room. Skuggan made happy, squeeky meows. When Husse and Matte finally got up, they found the sad last bits of Skuggan's morning toy: a blue tit (blåmes) was no more. Matte thought Skuggan didn't really want any more breakfast after the tasty appetizer, but she was wrong! Skuggan was very proud of her achievement and celebrated by happily eating both first and second breakfast.

Catony

Skuggan speaking! Just wanted to show you my favourite spot in the house during the summer. The catony (balcony) is great all year round, but especially in the summertime. I spend as much time outdoors as I possibly can. I watch the birds and listen to them sing. I keep hoping one will come really, really close to me... 

Cat Hotel

Skuggan and I have spent a week at the cat hotel. It's a great place, I love it there! I get so excited when I understand that's where we are going. We get our own room and a garden too! Skuggan really likes going out into the garden and runs out as soon as they hotel staff opens up the door in the morning. She comes right back in when they serve breakfast... 

Husse and Matte went on vacation, but they only saw one cat. They must have missed us terribly! They came to pick us up today while Skuggan and I were resting on the top-shelf. While I jumped down to greet them with my greatest purr, Skuggan's eyes turned into thin, yellow slices in all that black hair and she hissed at Matte! Skuggans does not like to be handled, but once we were in the carriers we were both fine. It was really nice to come home. I took Matte for a garden walk to check out the pee-mails and I had time to answer a few too.

Little Bear... or Skuggan? This is one of Matte's favourite pictures of Skuggan. Isn't she the cutest little bear you've ever seen?

Tea time!

Tea time! Skuggan is particularly interested in tea time, she waits patiently until she catches Husse's or Matte's attention and then she tells them "tea time". I, being the shy, quiet guy, on the other hand (why is everyone laughing?) use a more subtle method.
