Enough pictures

Yup. I've been in enough pictures now. Decided to take a break. Went to hide when Matte brought out the camera. Almost succeeded.

Tack för maten!

Idag fick Matte hjälp av Lovisa och Linnea att lägga upp mat på min aktivitets-tallrik. Det är jätteroligt att fiska upp matbitarna ur den. Där är små koppar så att jag får lirka med tungan, där är stora koppar där jag får fiska upp godbitarna med klorna och så finns det piggar, så maten åker slalom mot min mage! Det finns en tunnel också, det är lättast. Först kikar jag in i tunneln för att se om det ligger någon bit där, sen plockar jag ut den med tassen. Lätt som en plätt! Cat flap!

This summer Husse installed a cat flap on our balcony door. It is really great, we can go out and in whenever we want to. We are still not comfortable opening the little flap ourselves, so Matte has tied it in an open-position. That is just until we have learned that we can come and go as we wish. Isn't it a great idea!!

Ray of light

Make the best of what you got! Even if it is windy outdoors, the sun can be really nice. To get an even better spot, you might have to get on the dining room table. We really enjoyed our time well-spent in the sun! Husse and Matte made a good decision too: find somewhere else to have supper!

Postcards!

Skuggan and I got postcards today! It was very exciting. Aunt Jenny and her family sent them and they are so perfect! Skuggan got the black cat and I got the noisy cat... I wonder why? Thank you so much!!

Red carpet

When I was at the vet on Tuesday, Matte put out the red carpet for me. It ended up in a box and I love to nap in a box! This was really special treatment. To make sure it was comfortable for poor-little-operated-on me, Skuggan tried it first. She approved, so I have been able to nap in the box for a few days and nights now. I like it. Very much. Thank you, Matte!

Soldier boy

Oops, my little soldier helmet fell off... That must have been when I fell asleep. Husse and Matte found me with my head resting on the helmet. They thought I looked cute and said that I am a very brave boy. I didn't understand, but just in case I decided to spend the night in their bed. Today I know why I am their brave soldier boy: dental check-up at the vet. Big sigh. Unfortunately an operation as well, I lost 2 teeth today. I don't have many left now.

Bird rescue

I spy with my little eye... a bird caught in a net! It was very exciting!! I touched it with my paw and it squealed. That's when Matte understood what I had found. Unfortunately, she wouldn't let me play with it. Instead she carried me inside. I watched with great interest when Matte went back out again, with a pair of scissors, to rescue the bird. She was successful and the bird, a female blackbird, jumped out into the bushes. Despite the fact that I am a cat, I am rather proud that Matte and I rescued a bird!

Skuggan's Adventure

Husse and Matte had been out all day. When they got back, Matte took Enok for a walk on his leash. I was really curious to go out, but Matte said no. Luckily, after a few minutes, Husse decided to talk to Matte and Enok through the door, so he opened it up. I found the perfect opportunity and sneaked out! Wow, it was really fun to go outdoors again. I got to sniff a few places very close to the house before they were on to me. Matte picked me up! Yeah, you heard me... She picked me up! I really did n-o-t like that. Husse was sitting inside with a dish of my favourite snack, so I headed back to him as fast as I could. Matte? Well, she taped the scratch on her arm and has a bandaid on her finger. Serves her right. She tries to be friends again, but I make sure she doesn't get too close. Who knows what she might do next time?
