Äntligen

Husse and Matte went out of town over Christmas. Skuggan and I got to stay at my favourite hotel: the cat hotel Äntligen! It's the best! This Christmas was rather busy. Our next net neighbours were two shy cats that kept hissing ut us. I'm not bothered at all, but Skuggan didn't really appreciate it. Skuggan has gotten used to Äntligen which is good. Matte was very pleased to get the reports when she picked us up. Skuggan is out the door to the little garden as soon as it opens and sits there for a long while every day. She is also all over the room. When Matte is close, Skuggan prefers to hide below the wicker chair.

Pixie and Smokey II

Pixie and Smokey, the kittens, are apparantly famous already. Husse and Matte found them at the airport in Umeå...

Pixie and Smokey

Husse and Matte came back home on Sunday and were all "ooooh" and "aaaaaaah" over Pixie and Smokey. No, Husse and Matte did not end up getting kittens for us. Phew! Friends decided to have kittens and opted for norsk skogskatt. The kittens are about 14 weeks old and really busy. Pixie, the little redhead, is a fun girl. She cannot be stopped! Smokey is beautiful, her slightly larger brother. He's a bit shy and a bit more careful... until he gets into a fight with his sister, that is! Husse had the worst time trying to catch the little busy kittens on camera. This is as good as it gets. 

Paw Power

Matte has a new friend on facebook, his name is Justin. Justin is a fire survivor, he was just a tiny kitten when someone evil decided to set fire to him. Little Justin was saved by nice people and he is now with a loving family. His ears could not be saved so one of Justin's mottos is "Earless and Fearless". I think that is cute. My favourite is "Paw Power", which Justin says every time he tries to help another cat. There are so many out there that need help. Paw Power, my friends, Paw Power.

There are a zillion (at least) pictures that my secretary never get around to type the blog texts to. She really needs to quit her day time job. I need more attention. Anyway, here's a cavalcade of Yours Truly! 

On a rainy day

I just have to show you these! Matte went absolutely mad the other day. It was pouring rain and she thought I was going to go outside. Mad, I say, mad! Look at it raining, it's... WET! Wet, wet, wet! That's what it is. *Shudders* There's just no way I'd get out there. No way. Mad Matte.

Christmas decorations

Christmas is coming our way! Husse and Matte have been busy decorating. Skuggan and I think they have been doing a good job. We don't mind sitting on red table cloths, they work just as fine as yellow ones. There are little decorations in the flower pots, they are ok. And the candles are pretty nice too. Then Husse brought home... a something. Both Skuggan and I have kept staring at it. It's up on the fire place and it's a circle and we haven't been able to get to it to figure it out. Husse finally helped me out, so now I have given it a thorough sniff. It's a wreath of lamb's wool and there's a red ribbon in it. Very pretty. Now I can relax.  

Fur cap

Is this Matte's new fur cap? If it is, why did she leave it on Skuggan's... oh, it is Skuggan! Haha, Skuggan, you have cuddled yourself into looking like a fur cap. How did you do that? I want to do that too. /Enok.

Helping Husse

Husse is so proud and happy when I help him out. I help him very often and with very many different things. In the picture I am helping him holding his android tablet at the perfect angle for reading. The fact that the tablet is nice and warm against my back has nothing to do with it. Nope, nothing... or just a little! 

Not giving up

It's not the easiest thing in the world: to take pictures of a cat. This is Molly, she was so curious of the camera she couldn't resist checking it out very closely. But Matte was successful, finally!
