Fabulous

I'm a rock star, I'm a model, I belong on the cat walk! Imagine the collar is a fancy shawl... See the lights, hear the crowd "Enok, Enok, Enok"... Stars everywhere, paparazzi all over the place. Wow. I'm fabulous.

Mellow Mello

Mellow, cozy, comfortable, content... and watching "mello" (melodifestivalen). Well, I nod off, Matte brushes and cuddles me, so I doubt we really picked up anything from the show. We held hands/paws and really enjoyed our time together. This is love.

Off-collar

Last night, Matte and I cuddled up together by the tv. She watched some show, but mostly she watched me shower and nap. I was so pleased to have the collar off and I really made the most of the off-collar time. Unfortunately, I'll have to wear if for a while longer, as I successfully scratched it raw again this morning that unsupervised second. Sigh.

No PetCollar

I don't have to wear the petcollar when I take Matte for her walk. You can see the scab real well in this picture. Yuck. We can't wait for it to heal and the fur to grow back. It'll be a while I guess. Sigh.

PetCollar

The last time Husse and Matte went to America, they brought me a ... gift?! It's a petcollar and I guess it's much better than the horrible plastic cone I have been forced to wear previously. About three weeks ago, I scratched above my eye and well, there's a small wound, and now a scab. It really wouldn't heal, so now I'm forced to wear the ... gift.
The good thing about it is that I can actually eat and drink rather normally. I even move about the house, which I did not want to do with the plastic cone. The dumb thing kept bumping into everything. It made me depressed.
But I don't mind giving Matte a "stinky eye" taking pictures of me in this torture garment.I like the expression "stinky eye". My facebook friend Marmalady tought me that.
Wearing the petcollar does have its ups: Husse is really good at helping me scratch. Yesterday we spent a long time together on the kitchen floor. He gave me a really good scratch and I purred loudly to let him know how much I appreciated it.
The plastic cone is a nightmare to sleep in. This is actually pretty good. I enclose a few pictures so you can see for yourselves.
Maybe you can see my scab in this picture? It's above my right eye.
Skuggan, my loyal friend, keeps me company at all times. I licked here ears today to thank her. She tried to bite my throat. I laid my paw on her head and let her know I can use my claws. She needs to know I'm the boss even when I wear a petcollar.
