My new friends

I am sorry I haven't kept you informed of "goings on" lately. My secretary has been busy... first vacation and then work. I may have to find another secretary if she can't get her priorities right! But then we did have a wonderful vacation, Husse, Matte and I. We have spent lots and lots of time together, napping and talking our walks. This one afternoon, Matte's cousin and his family came over. I like them a lot. Tomas sat down in my favourite chair and his lap was so inviting, I walked over there immediately. I also spent some time on Lina's lap, which also is very comfortable. I am certain Tomas and his family are cat people.

Cathair Cake

Anyone for cathair cake? No? Husse took out the roasting pan from the oven, so that Matte could bake a sponge-cake. (The cake was later served with a caloric punch-chocolate glaze, they say it was yummy, but not for my tummy.) Anyway, liking well defined spots to nap, I rapidly took over the pan and made it mine!


Why haven't you brought this out before?


It's very comfortable.

It's also a nice pan to check the floor activities from.

Tonight Husse and Matte decided to go to the movies. I decided to show you what it looks like when Husse and Matte come home from being away a while! I wait around the house and as soon as I realize Husse and Matte are coming home, I run to the door to greet them. I mjau (they can read lips, they see me through the window!) and Matte mjaus back. She's not as good as I am, but at least she tries!

Are you lonesome tonight?

Are you lonesome tonight? Well, I was lonesome all day!! Husse and Matte decided to spend the day with Chippen and his family. As soon as I realized they were heading out without me, I decided not to play along with their games: no Dot, no food, no other fun stuff. I put on a brave face and laid down on the kitchen sink. Don't you think my expression says it all? Tells Husse and Matte what I think of their plan?
Are you lonesome tonight? Well, Husse and Matte eventually showed up. I'm fast asleep on Husse's lap after giving Matte instructions what to upload :-)

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

I probably strained my hip when climbing the ladder in Östra Nöbbelöv. Or something. Anyway, I have been having some trouble moving. Luckily, Husse and Matte (in agreement with the vet) now have medicine at home, so they got me started on it immediately. I am feeling sooo much better! I even asked Matte to take my walk today and she was very pleased. We didn't walk very far, but I stopped frequently to smell the bunny droppings and enjoy the sunshine. And I rolled around in the grass! It is so great, I love it!
