Matte sometimes wishes she had the same ability as I do: watch golf through the back of my neck...

Being brave

Skuggan was really brave the other day. Husse was on a business trip, so in order for me to get my usual after-supper-nap-lap, Matte took Husse's seat. I had cuddled up and was purring away when Matte started purring too. That usually means she's speaking to someone. This time, she was addressing Skuggan, who had jumped up on the table to keep Matte's sandwich company. Matte had unfortunately already eaten her sandwich. Once I was up again, Matte brought Skuggan some extra treats.

Birdbath or waterbowl?

Matte still claims them as birdbaths. I haven't seen a bird bathing in them in a long time. They are my waterbowls. And waterbowls for the hedgehog and any other friends or foe coming through our garden. Foe? Yes, Missan. Sigh. There's no teaching him/her obviously. 

Gorgeous and a bit silly

Matte wanted to share a few pics of Skuggan. Skuggan is such a sunshine-girl, she just loves to sit in the comfy chair really soaking up the rays of sunshine coming through the window. Isn't she just lovely?

Skuggan started posing on the table and Matte took a sillion pictures. These two are her favourites. She's so funny, Skuggan!

Exactly!

No words necessary. I don't understand why Husse and Matte insist on "empty" being "you can still eat that". 

Beans

Harvesting has begun. Husse harvested beans. Lots of beans. There are more in the garden, I have checked. I surely hope they like beans. Why don't they grow my food instead? That would have been really useful. I took it upon myself to watch the beans that Husse brought in. They are boring to watch. 

I am pleased there was no spider. Matte is a real whimp when it comes to spiders. I'm not a fan of them either - I skipped around quite a bit when a long-legged spider wanted to cross my path the other day. Husse thought it hilarious - "such cat, such Matte".
