Drawer day

I know there is a "boxing day" and I really like boxes. I think it is very nice that there is a whole day dedicated to boxes. I like drawers too. Is there a drawer day? If there isn't, I would like it to be today.

Artistic pics

Matte tried her artistic side the other day. Sometimes she does really well, sometimes it turns out... interesting. She keeps trying and her favourite model - well, yours truly! Skuggan is more difficult to catch on film, Matte says. Skuggan is very shy, but also because she is so black.

Fight Club

Did you see the film "Fight Club"? Skuggan and I have brought our own version of fight club into the house. No audience (only Husse or Matte if they happen to be at home) and no rules. It is sooo coool! I usually win. On the other hand, Skuggan says she usually wins. If Husse or Matte hear Skuggan whine while we fight, they step in and break us up. I guess nobody wins then.

Sunday morning

Sometimes it is really nice to sleep in and why not on a Sunday morning? We didn't ask Matte to get up until shortly before 7, so she got to sleep in too. Skuggan is much more active than I am and never hesitates to ask for yet another breakfast. I decided to have a second breakfast nap and cuddled up in the guest closet.

Spring?

I begged Matte for a walk today and since it wasn't rainting, she agreed. Oh, what wonderful news, it smells like spring just might be around the bend! We made a thorough check of all the smells in the garden and carefully avoided the snow and the melted snow. My paws got a bit wet anyway. I chased Skuggan around the house to get my paws warm and dry. Matte laughed at the paw prints and we got exercise!

It seems like the lavender didn't appreciate having a pile of snow on top of them.

Burn those calories!

Having Matte at home all day is pretty good. But I also tend to eat much more than I usually do. It doesn't really stick to me though, but I still like to stay in shape. A good way to get rid of those calories is to burn them! That's what I do when I sleep in my radiator-hammock, burn 'em!!

Let's play house!

- Baby, let's play house!

- OK, let's do what Husse and Matte does.

- Husse sleeps on this side of the bed, so I'll start with a nap.

- Matte sleeps here, I'll claim her pillow. She's more of a morning person, so I'll keep an eye out for a little while.

- Husse is good at snoring and so am I. Especially when we tilt our heads back!

- Sssh, I'm asleep now...
