Good for you
Salad is good for you. Very healthy and we all need a little bit of that green stuff. Enok used to get his own homegrown cat grass, but the vet told Husse and Matte to stop for a while, to see if Enok's allergies got better. Enok doesn't seem to miss the grass. I do. I never showed Husse or Matte that I nibbled. And then, out of the blue, the strangest thing! Matte planted some grass but she didn't leave it by our feeding place... it was on their dinner table! I'm not certain why they suddenly decided to serve us grass on the dinner table, but I'm not going to question their decision. I just appreciate the occasional bowl of salad!

Stop by and say meow
Early morning in January. The night has been peaceful and quiet. We slept in our warm house, in a warm bed and were served breakfast. Outside it snowed. Big, white, fluffy flakes. It was cold enough for the snow flakes to cover the world outside our door. So pretty. Then someone came over to say meow. Emil? Missan? We don't know. Someone came all the way up to our front door to say meow. And then walked away again. I sniffed the air through the door in the morning, to see if there was a message. No. We look forwad to you coming back. It is always nice when someone stops by to say meow.
Bob
A tale well told is the tale of Bob. "A Street Cat Named Bob". Bob is an English cat. Matte and I read his story together and we enjoyed it very much. Bob travels a lot and he has his own blog, too: streetcatbob.blogspot.se
We would like to watch an episode of Skavlan meeting Bob and his Husse, that would be a real treat!

Traffic accident?
Traffic accident? That's what Husse thought when the dish rack thundered from the sink to the floor. The pot lids, the cutting boards and the other stuff on the rack over-night fell all over the place. Great fun! And a pretty good wake-up-call for Husse, as he came running to see what was going on. See, that's what they get when they sleep in late. They went to a party last night and came home really late. That really shouldn't get in the way of our routines, so this is how Skuggan and I dealt with the late-breakfast-situation. It worked so well, I'll have to remember it 'til next time!
Gifts!
Santa came again! The gifts from Greece were a little delayed. I'm guessing Santa's reindeer needed a rest. We got kitty deck of cards, they're in 3D. Isn't that cute? I got my secretary/photographer to get an angle of Jack of Diamonds so you can see for yourselves. There were kitten-mittens too, I'm thinking Matte will use them when she takes me on her walks.
Do you see the pictures of the jokers? Top right corner :-)

Fancy food
Husse and Matte have another menu for themselves. Sometimes I check it out, but mostly I prefer my own food. Every now and then there's fancy food on the table. It smelled good but checking it out more closely I decided to let them have it all. They did go through some trouble putting on the nice table cloth and bringing out the nice silver cutlery. Celebrations are in order, I believe. Maybe New Year's Eve?

Male bonding
Matte borrows my bed for about 8 hours every night (well, she would put that differently) and Skuggan stays close to me a lot of the time. Husse also has a lot of women around him during the day. Male bonding is therefore extra important to us both and we like to do things guys like to do together. Like watch tv and relax on the couch. Or allow Matte to do the dishes while we check out the latest news on facebook on the phone.
Christmas 2012
Sorry for the delay! There are no excuses, my secretary... well, I just might have to hire someone else if she doesn't get her act together *smiles and purrs*. I will get you up-to-date in due time, trust me. But let's start with Christmas 2012! Santa found his way even to the basement of our house. One day there it was... a gift to us, Skuggan and me! It was very exciting and Husse and Matte were quite busy for a while getting the stuff together. It is a fancy water-bowl. Really fance, with running water! It is like a small fountain, water shoots up (well, not very far obviously... that would not attract any cats!) and pours down to form a small puddle. I enjoy drinking from the puddle-part. Skuggan prefers drinking from the fountain-top. Thank you, Santa!
