Helping Husse

There are times Matte really needs to be taken off Husse's hands. She can sit by the back-door and whine, wanting to take a walk. That's when I rescue them both: I make sure Matte gets her exercise and Husse can relax (or make breakfast or lunch or supper). Today, they have really been given a treat: three walks with Matte. Before noon!!!
First I made sure she got a 40-minute morning walk. Before breakfast and before going for a swim. I'm brave. We walked streets I've never walked before. By the time we got back, they went for their morning swim. Once back, Husse got started in the kitchen and I made sure Matte was kept away from there. We walked in the garden and across the street and we looked at birds and we smelled interesting stuff and we saw two cars and one person on a bike. Just when Husse was going to announce breakfast, I brought Matte back. Perfect timing, as ever!
Right now, Husse is in the kitchen making lunch. Is he ever anywhere else I wonder? Well, sometimes he sits by the dining room table to allow me my after supper-nap on his lap. Anyway, I took Matte for two laps around the garden again. She looked hungry so I thought it was a good idea to keep her out of the kitchen. Now I need a nap. All this responsibility is wearing me out.
